For an up-close glimpse into life at 9879 Vance Lane, please review the following interview between the Sellers and their Jason Will Real Estate Agent.  Avail yourself to valuable insight about the surrounding community, local shopping and dining favorites and even utility costs!

Agent:  How did you know this was the home you were meant to buy?

Seller:  “We wanted a place where the kids could have horses and ride motorcycles plus we needed enough room for our Construction business to be able to function.”

Agent:  Were schools a factor in your decision to purchase this home?

Seller:  “Yes. The school system was the main reason for us searching in this area. The schools are great.”

Agent:  What have become your top 5-10 favorite features of the home?

Seller:  “1.Feeling of country living & privacy but still in town. 2.The ability to have gardens, fruit trees, animals, and bonfires. 3. We enjoy entertaining our family and friends on the back deck.”

Agent:  Where do you find yourself spending the most time in the home and why?

Seller:  “Definitely the covered back deck is where we spend the most time. We cookout, watch the sunset, watch the kids play football, baseball or volleyball and have bonfires.”

Agent:  What improvements have you made to the home or property over the years?

Seller:  “Within the last year we have upgraded the master bath with a larger tile shower, new cabinets, and custom closet. The kitchen & laundry have also been upgraded. We have replaced the carpet in the bedrooms and repainted the whole interior of the house. The outside was repainted a couple of years ago. Exterior porches have been rebuilt with Cumaru and Tiger Wood floor decking as well as putting up new handrails.”

Agent:  What are your favorite grocery stores and shops in the area?

Seller:  “Of course Wal Mart is only 5 min away, but we do have a new coffee shop just down the road. We enjoy shopping at Moseley Fine Meats, and eating at any number of fine restaurants in the area. Downtown is a great place to walk and shop.”

Agent:  Any interests or hobbies you enjoy on or near the property?

Seller:  “We have always had a large garden. We also enjoy boating and fishing on all the local waterways.”

Agent:  Average utility costs in summer and winter?

Seller:  “I averaged the power bill for the last 12 months and it was $222.00″

Agent:  What will you miss most about living in or owning this property, as well as the surrounding community?

Seller:  “We will miss the privacy that the large lot provided and the convenience of being so close to town.”

Agent:  If you don’t mind me asking, why have you decided to sell your home?

Seller:  “Two reasons: mainly downsizing, the kids are grown and gone, and we would ultimately like to be on the water somewhere.”
