“My husband and I love the river and we have spent many years camping and boating in this area, with our family. We decided it would be nice to have a second home, with water access and a place to dock our boat.  This home was in the perfect area and had everything we were looking for, however it needed a lot of TLC.  We totally renovated it, added the carport and boat house and finally we could start to enjoy it. Although it is not far from our first home, it has been a great getaway for the weekends.

“There are several features of this house that I love. My favorite area is the large kitchen which is open to the living area.  It has loads of cabinet space and is great for cooking with friends and family. We had numerous outdoor parties on the huge carport which is in close proximity to the back yard. The kids could play games or go fishing and kayaking. Boating on the river is our most favorite pass-time and the Gulf is just a short boat ride away. After long days of boating, it was so nice to come back to cool off and unwind.

“State Line gas station and Dollar General are only 5 minutes from the house. Walmart Market Place, Lowes and Home Depot are just across the Alabama/Florida line about 15-20 minutes away.  Pen Air Federal Credit Union is 10 minutes away.  By water, there are several restaurants that are a 35-45 minute boat ride away. We were reluctant to sell 33789 Lost River Rd because we have loved it for so long but we bought other property in the area and just don’t use it as much anymore.”
