Jason: How did you know this was the home you were meant to buy?
Seller: When I first saw this home I loved how the rooms were open to each other. When you are in the kitchen you can still be included with what’s happening in the living room.
Jason: Were schools a factor in your decision to purchase this home?
Seller: At that time I had 3 kids in high school, middle,and elementary school. They were already in daphne so I wanted to stay. My mother needed to stay with me.
Jason: What have become your top 5-10 favorite features of the home?
Seller: We have enjoyed the screened porch and deck every day. The large master bedroom has been perfect for a mother-In-law suite.
Jason: Where do you find yourself spending the most time in the home and why?
Seller: In the morning we all go to the screened porch. After dinner we tend stay in the living room and watch tv.
Jason: What improvements have you made to the home or property over the years?
Seller: The first thing I added is the deck. I have added 5 ceiling fans,changed all the bathroom lights, last year I replaced the kitchen light. I added a hanging light over the front door. I replaced the dishwasher just over a year ago.
Jason: What are your favorite grocery stores and shops in the area?
Seller: We are centrally located to lots of shopping. I also enjoy Al Trione park.
Jason: Average utility costs in summer and winter?
Seller: The electric runs about$100 in the winter and high about $250 in the summer. Please remember I have my mom, 3 older kids and my grandson and me. That’s lots of laundry.
Jason: What will you miss most about living in or owning this property, as well as the surrounding community?
Seller: This was the first house I had bought on my own after divorce. I painted it happy colors. I raised three great kids here. There has been,and still is,lots of laughter, and happy memories.
Jason: If you don’t mind me asking, why have you decided to sell your home?
Seller: My kids have moved out. One is in college. My mother is 86, a 5 bedroom home is too big. I’m looking to downsize.
