Agent: How did you know this was the home you were meant to buy?
Seller: “We wanted to down-size and we were looking for certain criteria: It had to have a smaller yard, it had to be a brick house, it had to have a deck, 3 bed rooms, 2 baths, a lay-out that suited our needs, be in a good school district, and good location for work, and shopping. The first time we saw this house we knew it was meant for us.”
Agent: What have become your top 5-10 favorite features of the home?
Seller: “We enjoyed the view out the kitchen window and living room looking onto the golf course. We loved all the blooming flowers during the spring and summer, the marble fire place during the fall, the hardwood floors we installed, and the size of the master bedroom, bath and walk-in closet.”
Agent: Where do you find yourself spending the most time in the home and why?
Seller: “The living room was where we were most of time because of size and when in the kitchen we could see tv. The kitchen had plenty of cabinets and perfect size and space for more than two people at a time. We loved every thing about this home. It was a perfect match for us.”
Agent: What improvements have you made to the home or property over the years?
Seller: “The improvements we made was the floors, roof, updated lighting, heat and ac unit, all new appliances, and front and back doors.”
Agent: What are your favorite grocery stores and shops in the area?
Seller: “We like shopping at Publix, Rouses, the Bass Pro Shopping Center, the TJ Maxx, Home Depot, Hobby Lobby, the restaurants that are close as well as the Malbis shopping center.”
Agent: Any interests or hobbies you enjoy on or near the property?
Seller: “We loved going to the Lake Forest Yacht Club to eat and watch the sun go down on the bay. We went to the pools all summer long and they are very nice there. We are not golfers but we enjoyed watching them from the kitchen and living room windows and since they crossed right in front of our drive way we met many of them and even gave them drinks some time as they where passing by. We loved our home, neighbors, and for us Lake Forest was a beautiful place to live and we enjoyed our surroundings, and community.”
Agent: Average utility costs in summer and winter?
Seller: “Yearly power bill exactly $ 1735.00 Average bill each month $144.59. The Daphne utility average was $82.84 for the year.”
Agent: If you don’t mind me asking, why have you decided to sell your home?
Seller: “We decided we needed to down-size again and we also felt we needed to be closer to John’s mom to help take care of her needs so we moved into the same subdivisions she lives in. We love our new home but 100 Havenwood will always be a wonderful memory for us.”
