Next to a new construction home that sold toward the entrance of the subdivision, I feel like we have just listed the most heavily upgraded home in the community at 1057 Crown Walk Drive. This home shows like a model, with its superior amenities and elegant decor. This is one of those properties that homebuyers will immediately connect with as soon as they walk through the front door. Our seller has graciously provided some intimate insight as to what makes this property special and what they appreciate most about life in Crown Walk.
Why did you and your husband want to buy this home?
“We loved the area, close to central Foley, Gulf Shores, and 10 minutes from our gulf beaches. We also really loved the floor plan, along with the upgrades and the fenced yard. The granite counter tops throughout the house sold me, including the tile in the kitchen, living room and dining room. The vaulted ceilings give the house a larger feel with the additional vertical space.”
What do want Foley AL homebuyers to know about your home?
“Crown Walk is a very quiet neighborhood with friendly neighbors, and the layout of the home is cozy and good for entertaining guests and hosting Christmas parties. I absolutely love the master bedroom location away from the two front bedrooms. This is a very comfortable home.”
What are your favorite spaces in the home?
“The living Room and back porch are my favorite, because they are such cozy living spaces and we can have dinner or morning coffee on the back porch and watch the birds in the Spring and Fall. The backyard protected by a privacy fence and creates a safe haven for the birds to nest among the jasmine.”
Have you made any improvements to the property?
“The house was literally in pristine condition when we bought it and all I felt it needed was a little improvement to the curb appeal with a little color from beautiful blooming in the Spring. We added a garden with trellis in the backyard, which is an extension of the front flower bed around the side of the house for Azaleas.”
What is your favorite grocery stores in the area?
“Publix and Walmart are both close by and that’s where we do most of our shopping.”
What are your favorite shops in town?
“Hobby Lobby is a few miles away, the Foley Beach Express is right down the road which leads to the Wharf and has some really unique shops and is also where we love to celebrate the 4th of July with fireworks and ice skate at Christmas time.”
Any interests or hobbies you enjoy near the property?
“Bird watching, gardening, walking in the neighborhood which is safe.”
Average utility costs in summer and winter?
“Summer-Baldwin EMC is around $115 per month and Riviera is around $55 per month and in the Winter-Baldwin EMC is around $50 per month and Riviera is around $45 per month.”
What will you miss most about living in or owning this property?
“I’ll miss the closeness of the community and stopping outside in the front to talk to the neighborhood walkers, waving to the neighbors as they drive by, gardening in the Spring and being able to watch the Bluebirds thrive in the yard.”
Since you are relocating to Idaho, what do you think you will miss most about life here?
“The close proximity of the home to the surrounding towns and being so close to our beautiful beaches.”
