    Jason: “What were the deciding factors that led you to build your home on Dixon Road home?  Did you design or select the floor plan?  If so, what attracted you most to the floor plan?”

    • Seller : “My husband and I purchased the property on Dixon Road due to the seclusion of the property.  At the time we purchased the property Dixon Road was an old red dirt road with only two other homes on our end.  We loved and still do love the country feel while still being so close to town. Our neighborhood also has ample acreage lots for sale.  We selected our floor plan then made a lot of custom changes.  We chose this floor plan due to its open flow and ‘family friendly’ atmosphere, as we have a large family and this house allows for easy family gatherings of 30 plus people.”

    Jason: “Were schools a factor in your decision to purchase this home?”

    • Seller : “When we purchased this property the school district was not an issue as we did not have children at that time.  Now that we have children we would feel comfortable sending our kids to the small, quaint country school that we are zoned for.  Delta Elementary offers small class sizes with good student to teacher ratios.”

    Jason: “What have become your favorite features of the home?”

    • Seller: “Our favorite features by far are the front and back porches.  We spend a lot of time out doors and the covered porches are a good place to relax.  I also love! the kitchen, the openness of it and all the counter space and counter tops.”

    Jason: “Where do you find yourself spending the most time in the home and why?”

    • Seller: “We are always congregated in the kitchen or on the back porch; when the weather is nice we open the french doors and enjoy a little of the outside in.  The view from the porch over looks the back horse pasture and wooded area.  There is an abundance of wildlife out our back door that we enjoy viewing.”

    • Seller: “Since the house has been completed we have continued to clear away some of the property.  Built the shop and outside horse stalls.”

    Jason “What is your favorite grocery store(s) in the area? Where do you do most of your shopping?”

    • Seller: “I am always in Spanish Fort or Daphne, therefore that is where I do the majority of my shopping.  If I need something quick I will go into Bay Minette.  Bay Minette Walmart is about 12 minutes from the house, Rouses in Spanish Fort is 15, Daphne Publix is 20 minutes away. We are 13 miles from the causeway and Interstate 10, 8 miles from Interstate 65 and the Wind Creek casino is also just  35 minutes from our home.”

    Jason: “Any interests or hobbies you enjoy near the property?”

    • Seller: “The Tensaw river and delta are approximately 75 acres to the west of our house.  Hurricane and Cliffs landing are both within 5 minutes from the house and both landings have public boat launches.  There are also many access points to public hunting areas (wild life management areas).”
