JWRE: “What were the deciding factors that led you to buy this home?
Seller: “We were in the market for affordable waterfront with Gulf of Mexico access. We felt blessed to have stumbled across such a turn-key ready property with nothing to update inside. We were blown away by beauty of both the house and the creek.”
JWRE: “Were schools a factor in your decision to purchase this home?”
Seller: “No, our children are grown.”
JWRE: “What have become your favorite aspects of the home?”
Seller: “Sitting at the end of the dock and feeding the fish is so relaxing. We love how spacious the house is and all the storage. There is not a stitch of carpet, so it’s super easy to clean floors and the furniture does not get dusty as fast.”
JWRE: “In your opinion, what are the most attractive selling features of your home?”
Seller: “The dock and boat house are by far my favorite feature. I am also very proud of the front profile of the home with the traditional brick work. I think folks will also appreciate the 3 car garage and all the storage. The attic has a lot of floored storage space as well.”
JWRE: “Where do you find yourself spending the most time in the home and why?”
Seller: “We spend most of our time in the kitchen and living room. The kitchen is very large, with lots of custom cabinets. Our living room is a great entertaining and gathering space, with lots of room for family and friends.”
JWRE: “What improvements have you made to the property since the purchase?”
Seller: “We had the boat house and end of dock built. We rebuilt the large deck off the end of the house with upgraded to plastic wood. JWRE: “What are your favorite shops in town?”
Seller: “We do the majority of our shopping at Rouse’s and Wal-mart. I also like the Antique Mall around the corner, were we have bought many beautiful items for the home.”
JWRE: “Any interests or hobbies you enjoy near the property?”
Seller: “We love to fishing, which is why a major requirement for any home we looked at purchasing need to have access to the Gulf of Mexico. There is nothing better to me than fresh snapper! We used to do a lot of cruising too, before I sold my 20 ft boat. This time of year is perfect for relaxing with a home-cooked meal on the large screened in porch at night and enjoying during the cooler temperatures.”
JWRE: “What would you say are your average utility costs in summer and winter?”
Seller: “In the summer it runs about $150 and around $112 in the winter months.”
JWRE: “What will you miss most about living in or owning this property?”
Seller: “Everything! We truly love this home and the property. I recently retired and it is time to move closer to family. The folks that buy this house will be inheriting some great neighbors and I think they will greatly appreciate the peace and quiet.”
