Brooke Thomas Butler
Your Eastern Shore Connection!
Brooke Thomas Butler is 3rd generation Fairhope, the oldest of 5 siblings, all of whom were born at Thomas Hospital and raised on Fairhope Avenue. Her fondest memories from growing up in our quaint little southern town all evolve around the amount of time they spent outdoors, canvasing the neighborhood on their bikes and enjoying the freedom that often comes with being a part of a close-nit, safe community. Her time indoors was often spent immersed in imaginary tails of countless books she would devour before surrendering to the call of wild to join the ranks of youthful energy on the shallow banks of Mobile Bay.
Brooke has been a hard worker for as long as she can recall, beginning with keeping her younger immediate family members out of the emergency room, which proved to be a full-time job in and of itself, to entering the restaurant business at the age of 16. She started out waiting tables, earning every tip left on the table with genuine service and a heartwarming smile. Her career in the restaurant business culminated with her being promoted to manager, because she has the patience of a saint and is the kind of person that has never met a stranger.
The restaurant business taught her more about the sales industry than her formal education could ever hope to, thus Brooke was an instant success at PrintXcel, selling a wide variety of printing solutions for local small businesses. Brooke loved building a loyal client base by nurturing the needs of her customers. Nothing could possibly need more nurturing than the real estate transaction process, thus Brooke is a natural Real Estate Professional. She is passionate about helping people, especially families longing for a home to call their own. She understands the unique pride that stems from homeownership and she is passionate about being the consummate advocate to those who hire her to represent their home buying or selling needs.
When Brooke is not out hustling for her clients, you will find her attending to the needs of her other two passions in life, her precious family and her beloved community. She has two beautiful children, Mary Thomas age 10 and Abbie age 8, both of which are thriving in the Fairhope Public School System. Her husband Steve is a Field Engineer and Project Manager in the power-line industry, where in conjunction with local power companies, like Baldwin EMC, for the last 25 years. They love to pack up their camper with their sweet yellow lab, JoJo and head up to Lake Martin for some unplugged family time or head south to Orange Beach for a sun-kissed day of surf and sand.
Brooke is currently serving as the President for the Junior Auxiliary of the Eastern Shore, privately helping those in need with the little things in life that most of us all to often take for granted. Her devotion to others defines her, from her big sense of family to taking the needs of total strangers to heart. She would say that being relational is in her genes, coming from a very large family that hosts an annual Christmas Party with nearly 200 relatives. Whether you are born with a good soul or not, there is something very special about a person who bases their success on legacy and not income.
