Angie was the quintessential red-blooded American country girl, she loved animals, singing and dancing. She began singing to public audiences when she was just 5 years old, mostly at church then graduating in her adolescence to school plays and weddings. Angie was an all-star member of the Bibb County High School Golden Girl dance team, selected to dance before the Hawaiian government, as well as the Super Bowl. At that time, the town of Centerville was hardly a bustling metropolis and the family farm was 20 miles from the nearest gas station, thus Angie's world centered around neighboring Tuscaloosa, ROLL TIDE! She and her friends would treat themselves to a night out in T-town at every opportunity, indulging in the shopping, dining and entertainment opportunities that were lacking closer to home.
After graduation, Angie moved to Tuscaloosa and enrolled in the University of Alabama in pursuit of a degree in business. Around this same time, she discovered her passion for sales and the financial gratification it provided by simply investing her time in building genuine relationships with her customers. The social freedom of college life was no match for the pull of financial independence that lingered on her horizon, thus a budding sales career at Alabama Power began in 1998.
She excelled in this competitive environment for 10 years, lending her talents to both the Leadership Development Team and the Merchandise Committee. A year after accepting a position at Alabama Power, she married her husband, Michael, who was in the latter stages of completing his degree at Alabama and he too would enter the sales world as a Pharmaceutical Rep and the couple would eventually settle in McCalla, on the immediate outskirts of Hoover.
The couple from rural Alabama took to Birmingham like fish out of water, the traffic combined with a lack of outdoor activities for their young family, had them longing for more of a small town feel. Baldwin County had been Angie's dream destination for years, due to its close proximity to the beach. She and Michael were determined to make the move a reality, as soon as professional opportunities became a reality. Fortunately, Michael's sales territory grew to cover the the entire state of Alabama, as well as the Florida Panhandle, and the couple, along with their three children: Brauhn, Kael and Amellia moved to welcoming community of Spanish Fort in 2014. Angie describes the relocation as "seamless" from the transition into the top rated public school system, to the well coached athletic teams, that her children are now heavily involved in.
Angie always knew in her heart that real estate was 100% a perfect fit for her personality. Although she had already earned her real estate license, Angie began her career in the industry as an administrator for Roberts Brothers in Fairhope, where she learned the everyday workings of being a real estate agent, while contributing to the family budget on a consistent basis. She filled the position for nearly a year before crossing paths with Chad Hurley, an entrepreneurial genius and driven Realtor, with his sites set on breaking into top 1% of agents in the Baldwin County Association of Realtors. Today, Angie and Chad are complimenting each other's strengths as one of the top teams as Jason Will Real Estate and rising real estate rockstar's on the Alabama Gulf Coast. In her own words, Angie explains that "When you discover what you are good at, you can't help but to be successful and happy!" Her past clients, which she calls her friends, affirm that their relationship with Angie quickly evolved from handshakes to hugs.
When Angie is not hustling for her customers, you will likely find her at the beach, with her toes buried beneath the sand or riding horses back at her parent's farm in Bibb County. Needless to say, the entire family is fanatical about Alabama Football and they love hanging out together as a family, grilling out and cheering on "The Tide!" Angie is also a avid Pinterest designer and spends countless hours pinning designs to her dream home board. She and Michael would ultimately like for real estate to be the vehicle that helps them achieve their goal of building their "forever home" on a couple acres outside the city limits.
